Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This is a general-purpose draft, not final legal advice. Have a lawyer review it before it governs real customer accounts, especially for GDPR/CCPA compliance.

1. What we collect

We collect only what's needed to run the Service and your account:

  • Account data — your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase Auth; we never see your plaintext password), and your current plan tier.
  • Content you upload — the HTML/CSS files (or zip archives of them) you submit for conversion, and the generated C/C++/MicroPython/XML output, stored so you can download it.
  • Usage data — a record of each conversion job (its options, status, and timestamps) and your credit balance history (grants and spends).
  • Billing data — if you make a purchase or subscribe, your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and order history (amounts, dates, and Stripe checkout/payment references). We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles that directly.
  • Promotions and referrals — if you use a promo code, gift card, or affiliate link, we store the redemption record needed to apply or credit it.
  • Messages you send us — if you use the Contact Us form, we store your name, email, and message.
  • Cookies — a session cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

We use this data only to operate the Service: authenticating you, running conversions, tracking and charging credits, processing payments, applying promotions/referrals, and responding to messages you send us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploaded content for any purpose other than converting it and giving you the result.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make html2LVGL work:

  • Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider.
  • Stripe — our payment processor, for purchases and subscriptions.

Each has its own privacy policy governing how they process data on our behalf. We do not share your data with anyone else, except where required by law.

4. Data retention

We keep your account data and conversion history for as long as your account is active, so your job history and credit balance remain accurate. If you ask us to delete your account (see below), we delete or anonymize this data except where we're required to keep billing records for legal/tax purposes.

5. Your rights (access, export, deletion)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA). Self-service "Download My Data" and "Delete Account" buttons are planned for the account settings page but are not built yet. Until then, contact us through the Contact Us page and we'll handle your request manually.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

8. Contact
